I purchased a book, Ben Hur by Lew. Wallace, dated 1899. It has a signature, A. H. Aldridge Christmas 1899, and I would like to get more information regarding this book. How can I tell if it's a first edition, how rare, etc.?

I have a spoon with similar markings to others I've seen, but mine has an extra mark that appears to be a crown with a family crest on the front, which says 'all my god amende.' I'm interested in learning everything about it, including its possible value. The spoon is in fair condition and is marked 'rc' with an 'a,' which I believe indicates it's a first edition. What can you tell me about this spoon?

I have several Reed and Barton knives, one of which is marked 'rustless' and has an H on the bottom tip and a D engraved. They are 8 1/2" long, with a 3/4" wide blade and a 1/2" to 3/4" handle. I would like to know the collection they are from and their estimated value. Additionally, I have Reed and Barton flatware that I would like to know the value of.
