My family has a very old mantel clock from the late eighteenth century. We have pictures of the clock since it was crated to be shipped to America. The clock was purchased by my grandfather just after the second world war in Delft, the Netherlands. The auctioneer who sold the clock mentioned it was built for a French emperor. The clock is about 30 inches tall, 30 inches wide, with the widest part on the bottom being 8 inches. The weight is around 85 pounds, and the two statues on each side are around 28 inches tall and weigh about 8 pounds each. We are trying to determine the value of the clock and possibly sell it. What is the value of this clock, and how should we proceed with selling it?
