asked

We have a 30-inch wide, 5-inch tall ornamental dish from the Chicago World's Fair in 1893. It was acquired by Charles Fessenden Morse, had a single piece broken out of it, and was going to be thrown away, but my second great-grandfather acquired it. My grandfather made a base for it to display on the wall. I can send pictures. Is there anything else important the Antiques Appraiser should know?

I have a Terry Redlin print entitled "Autumn Afternoon." It is approximately 16x26, signed by the artist, and is a limited edition 2742/4800. It is in excellent condition as it has been framed since purchase. I wish to donate this to a nonprofit domestic abuse/sexual assault agency for their annual fundraiser and have no appraisers in my town. What is the estimated value of this print?

I own a Singer class 185J with serial number JD756185 and other numbers SIMANCO CAN 33681 Cat No RFJ8-8. It was built in St Johns Newfoundland Canada, but I can't find the year it was made (guessing 1959). Can you provide insight on the year and any history of the machine? Also, some people refer to it as 'Spartan.' Is there any significance to that? I bought it from someone who had restored it to excellent condition (almost new like), but it doesn't have an original base; I made a base for it. Was the original base wood or the green plastic ones?

I have two tea cups with saucers and one single saucer. They are delicate porcelain and I believe they are English made. There are no makers marks on any of the pieces. Can you provide any information about their origin and value?

I need retail values for a vintage metal school bus and a newer Tonka toy pickup with camper that I want to sell in my shop. The school bus is unmarked on the bottom but has 'Hubley' written on the sides.

I have a 12" by 8.5" silk of Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot's "Souvenir de Mortefontaine". Was wondering if it is worth anything. It is in wonderful condition and I bought it some 50+ years ago.
