I just joined and lost my page while they were finding me an appraiser. I have a pencil that I would like to learn about. It is in good condition and measures 3ft x 28. On the back of the picture, it has a sticker from Paragon Picture Gallery with a number 2442. I also mentioned that it catches the eye and I saw a similar item sell for over a million. Can you help me understand its value?

I purchased 4 French arm chairs from an estate sale. They were identified as French arm chairs manufactured in 1960, solid black cherry with original upholstery. They could not provide a value because they do not work in the secondary market. Does the chair have a maker's mark or serial number? There are several different numbers including a date. Not sure what any of them represent. I can send you a photo of the labels.
