I have a Samsung dryer that will not start without manually turning the drum. Once I do this, everything works fine. The door switch is working properly. How old is your Samsung dryer? Is the door switch working properly? Three years. Door switch is working. How long has this been going on with your Samsung dryer? What have you tried so far? Two days. I have cleaned all lint from the inside and, while holding the door switch closed, I have to aid the dryer to start by rotating the drum. Does the drive motor need to be replaced?

My Frigidaire front load washer (Model ATF6700FS1, bought in Dec 2008) has issues with spinning and draining water. One load didn't spin, leaving the items soaking wet, and a spin-only cycle added water but didn't drain. After bailing out the water and trying a regular cycle, no water came into the washer. Additionally, the door mat in the first load had its backing peel off, and we received an error message - 39 PAU a couple of times. What could be causing these issues and what should I do?
