Heating element is discontinued for Maytag dryer model YMEDC500VWO. Element part #3403590. Are heater elements on Amazon for () -# interchangeable? The dryer is about 12 years old and is overheating. When I put the multimeter on the heating element, I detect a short. The thermal fuse was fried and replaced, and the duct was cleaned of lint. However, the dryer still dries hot, and clothes are very hot at the end of the cycle. I manage the heat by using timing dry.

My GE water dispenser in the door of my side-by-side refrigerator stopped dispensing water from the door and now it comes from the outside bottom of the fridge. Something is clogged. The fridge is 5 years old, and I've tried leaving the freezer door open in case water was frozen in the door, but nothing else. The water is not coming from where the water line is attached, and I just changed the filter. Ice works fine. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?
