I tried pushing the cancel button for three seconds, but the green light only stays on for a few seconds before turning off. My front-loading washer fills with about a quart of water when it is not being used. I leave the door open when it is not in use. The washer is about seven years old and has been doing this for several months. I have tried not putting clothes in when waiting for a full load and checked the pipes going into the wall. The water is in the washer whether it is empty or has a little laundry. Is this a problem, or is it fine?

I have a Model WTW4955Hw0 washing machine that is 6 years old. The 'final spin' light keeps flashing even when unplugged and plugged back in. I tried pressing the button for 3 seconds to turn it off and unplugging/plugging back in, but the issue persists. Additionally, the rinse cycle kept going when washing a rug, and I had to manually drain it. What can I do to stop the light from flashing?

I have a GE dryer that is about 3 years old. There is a big vent in the back part inside the dryer, and it has three screws that won't screw in. I tried to screw the vent back in, but it seems like there is nothing to screw them into. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?
