I have a Magic Chef cellar in my condo in Montreal. Ice has formed around the compressor inside the cellar, and when it melts, it drips onto the kitchen floor. I left the door open to let the ice melt completely. Is the cellar broken, and what should I do? If the ice melts completely, can the cellar be used as before?

I just bought a new Whirlpool refrigerator two weeks ago, and the ice maker only drops ice about once daily.
