🔌  Appliance

I am a kitchen renovator and my customer purchased a Kitchenaid Superba gas range model YKGSC308LSO online. Burners ignite and light up, but the display was half out. I found that the touch pad tapes connecting to the power board were brittle and cracked. I replaced the touchpad assembly, but the display still doesn't light up when powered on. The touchpad and cover cost $270, and the board is $260. What are the chances that a new board will solve the problem, and is it worth the money to replace these parts? Electronic parts are not returnable to my supplier. This is a Canadian-manufactured unit, and we are in Toronto, Canada.
