I am attempting to replace a broken blower fan on my Amana dryer (model ned4655ew1). The blower fan is firmly stuck and won't spin clockwise, even with the shaft secured. I've heard that cutting the blower fan away is the best solution when this happens. Do you agree, or would you suggest something else?
