I am having issues with my GE dryer. The motor hums when I push start, but the drum won't spin. If I manually spin the drum, it turns. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?

My GE Arctica ice maker reservoir won't fill up with water, and it's not producing ice. The 'sweep' mechanism works when I turn it off and back on, and I can get water from the refrigerator door dispenser. Have you checked if the water supply line to the refrigerator is properly connected and turned on? Is there anything else the Appliance Expert should know before I connect you?

I replaced a water filter crookedly and now the water and ice are shut off. I fixed the filter problem, but cannot reset the water/ice maker. What should I do to troubleshoot and reset the water and ice maker on my General Electric appliance model CYE22TSHMSS?

I own a Whirlpool refrigerator model WRF560SEYM04 purchased in 2019. The bottom freezer compartment's slides have rusted and locked up, causing the plastic mounts to break off when I tried to open it. The unit is out of warranty. What caused the slides to rust, and is there a solution to fix this issue without replacing the entire refrigerator?

I have an older Whirlpool under counter ice maker that has started making patchy slabs of ice with thick edges and thin, holey middle, and overall ice production is around 1/3 of what it should be. The condenser coil is clean, the fan is running, and the evaporator plate reached -20F during a test cycle. What could be causing this issue and what steps can I take to diagnose and potentially fix it?

The start button on my Frigidaire FFBD1821MS1B dishwasher won't start the dishwasher. I have confirmed the door switches are working, have continuity when the switch is closed, and proper voltage leaving the switch. I can select any mode and it functions normally, but the start and delay start buttons won't start the dishwasher. Is there any response from the dishwasher when you press the start button? Any lights or sounds? I have tried a hard reset by shutting off the circuit breaker switch to the appliance for over 20 minutes, but it didn't correct the issue. What should I do next?
