My Dometic RM8501 refrigerator won't stay lit on gas. The ignitor sparks and the flame lights briefly up to three times but then goes out. This process repeats three times until the unit stops trying to run on gas and the indicator light comes on on the front panel. The refrigerator is about 8 years old and the front circuit panel has been replaced once. What could be the issue and how can I troubleshoot it?

My GE dishwasher model GSM 1860JSS, although noisy still operates quite well, but the door will not unlatch so I can retrieve the dishes. Is there a way to unlatch the door? Do you think the latch mechanism needs servicing or replacing based on any experience you have with this model?
