I am renting an apartment with a GE Profile Electric Range and stove with convection and conversion. I can't get it to heat (bake or broil) as it keeps showing LOC ON no matter what I press. I held the START and BAKE keys down for five seconds, then BAKE and the number I wanted, but got the same response. What could be the issue and how can I resolve it?

I have a Kenmore top-loading high-efficiency low-water washer model 2130. During the wash and rinse cycles, it has started making a loud screeching noise that sounds like metal grinding on metal. The cycle completes and the clothes get done, but I think I'm waking up the neighbors. The noise seems to be coming from the top left of the machine during the agitation parts of the cycle, and the spins are okay with no noise. What could be causing this noise and what should I check?

I have a Fridgidaire Gallery Fridge with the fridge temperature set at 4°C, but the actual temperature is around 10°C, causing milk to spoil sooner than expected. Is there a way to recalibrate the temperature sensor the fridge uses to set the temperature?
