I bought a GE range used model jgbp90meh5bc, which was converted to LP gas. The top burners work with a mainly blue flame and yellow at the tips, but the oven has a huge yellow flame that comes up through the bottom plate. I checked the regulator and it's set for LP. I adjusted the air flow, which improved the flame color but it's still mostly yellow and too high, with a smell like when starting a cold oven. It also smoked soot until I adjusted the air shutter. The conversion kit seems to only have an orifice for the top burners, not the oven. The broiler won't start, possibly due to a bad glow starter. How can I get the oven to work properly?
