I had a Maytag front-loading washing machine delivered yesterday from PC Richards. The first time I used it, the danger warning sign came on. PC Richards can't send anyone until Monday. I just want to be able to open the door so my clothes won't be sitting in water. What should I do?

I have a Whirlpool TU8000XRP1 trash compactor. When I turn it on using the 'normal' setting, everything is fine. But when I turn it on using the 'heavy' setting, the drawer doesn't want to open after it's done compacting. The only way I've figured out how to get it to open after that is to switch it back to the 'normal' setting and have it compact the trash again. Once it's done with that, it will open again. It's working just fine on the 'heavy' setting and indeed compacts the trash effectively, and more than it does on the 'normal' setting. The drawer not opening is the only issue. What could be going on?

My range displayed a '5E' error message. It happened 2 weeks ago, and after unplugging it over the weekend, it worked fine. However, the error occurred again when heating the oven for turkey. What could be causing this and what can I do to fix it?
