I have a 30-year-old C221 downdraft electric grill on my outdoor covered porch that needs replacing. I can only find gas units and am unsure about having a propane tank in a closed cabinet under the cooktop on my porch. What replacement options or advice do you have?

We are renting and have a Tappan oven where the stove top works but the oven does not. The screen isn't on, and we can't push any buttons. The stove top burners work, but the oven light that indicates a burner is on does not. We have a voltage tester now. What could be the issue, and how can we troubleshoot it?
