I have a Bravos Maytag dryer (model MEDX500BW0) and need to make it fit through a 27-inch door. Is there a way to disassemble parts of the back (exhaust or other parts) to make it fit through the door opening? I plan to do the work myself with the help of a handyman.

I am trying to change the door boot of a Maytag model MFW9600sq1 and have trouble removing the front & lower panels. I have removed the control panel and taken out the door lock screws. What steps should I take to successfully remove these panels and replace the door boot?
