I have a GE side-by-side refrigerator model #GSL22JFXALB. The water dispenser started running on its own and wouldn't shut off, and pressing the ice dispenser button caused it to run continuously. Unplugging the refrigerator temporarily stopped the issue, but it resumed after a few minutes. Holding down the 'Lock' button is the only way to stop the dispensers from running, preventing water and ice from flooding the floor. What is causing this issue and how can it be fixed?

I asked a question about a week ago regarding my freezer. It was full of ice, and the drain hole under the cooling unit seemed to be plugged. I thawed the freezer, ran hot water through to clean the drain hole, and reassembled it. It seems to be working great now. What else can I do to ensure it continues to work properly?
