My Ariston washing machine is stuck at the wash cycle. I've tried turning it off and back on, but it just started doing this yesterday. It also turns around the cycles back to where it began, so I can't set up a different mode. What could be the issue and what can I do to fix it?

I have a Maytag Bravos XL washer that won't complete a full cycle, stopping around 7 to 8 minutes remaining with error code "uL". When entering maintenance diagnostic mode, the last error code that appears is F92. The washer is top-loading and approximately 7 or 8 years old. What can I do to resolve this issue?
