I have a Frigidaire Dryer Model GLER341AS2 with control issues. It works in time mode but not automatic, and the timer doesn't advance. The heating element is on high even on the 'fluff' setting with no heat. I checked the electrical connections and voltages with no apparent problems. Should I replace the entire control mechanism, or is there something else I should check or consider?

My LG WM3001HWA steam washer light inside the tube will not go out. After sitting for a while, the machine locks up and you have to shut off the power to recycle it. Still, the light will not go out and the cycle starts over again. What could be the issue and what should I do?
