My Maytag dishwasher model MDB6709AWB1, serial FOO803929, type 575-0, runs for a few seconds after closing the door without pushing any buttons to start it. A few months ago, we lost the ability to turn off heated dry or adjust the wash cycle. I have checked the door switch and looked for loose wiring, and I have also turned off the power and reset the unit. What could be causing these issues and what can I do to fix them?

I have a Maytag Bravos XL that just went down. The start button and estimated time are flashing, and the power button only lights up but does nothing.
