I have a Frigidaire model GLRT186TA refrigerator that is about 10 years old. The fresh food bottom is not cooling at all, but the freezer is working and has a frost build-up. What should I do?

Our GE refrigerator is 20 years old, side by side, and has worked perfectly for years. The other day, the freezer door wouldn't close. It wasn't jammed or overfilled. I can close it by lifting up on the door itself until almost closed. It is like it is stuck and won't drop into the top slot it needs to be in. We are planning a move and I hate to leave with the fridge door in this disrepair. Any suggestions besides buying a new one?

I'm trying to install a GE heater on my Amana Fridge Model #SCD25TW to prevent the dispenser from freezing up. The instructions say to splice into the red and black/white wires, but this doesn't apply since it's a different make. Which wires should I be splicing into?
