We have a model PFSS6PKXSS GE refrigerator, purchased in 2009. The problem we have is that the ice door keeps opening and closing on its own. It is really loud. How can we get this fixed? GE says they don't service these.

I have a Kenmore dishwasher that only fills with a small amount of water before circulating it, and the water does not heat up. The heater never comes on. Does the dishwasher need a certain amount of water in the chamber before the heater activates? Is the circuit board responsible for controlling the water flow, and does it stop the flow to allow the washer to continue the cycle and heat the water? The model number is XXXXX.
