I have a GE Café model CVM2072SMSS microwave. The touch pad does not work, it lights up but does not respond to touch. The microwave was purchased in December 2010. What can be done to fix this issue?

Why did my Kenmore fridge's ice maker stop working? The water dispenser works fine, but no water goes into the ice maker. The fridge is 13 years old, and the water filter was replaced 2 months ago. The issue started 4 days ago, and I have tried unplugging the fridge and letting it thaw out. The fridge also started freezing everything until I reset the temperature of the freezer to 6 and the fridge to 48.
