I have a GE dryer (Model # DCVH680EJ1MRC, Serial number 794397AI) that shuts off after 4-5 minutes into the drying cycle, displaying 'DRYING' but not actually drying. The dryer does not restart unless I turn it off and on again, and it occasionally runs for a short period before stopping again. I am using a vent hose that goes into a 5-gallon bucket as I don't have an external vent. I suspect it might be an issue with the heater elements or a safety feature, but I don't have a multimeter on hand to test this. What do you think the problem could be?
