I have a GE GNE25JMKCFES freezer, 2 years old, with a problem of insufficient coldness (38°F) and considerable frost buildup on the right side. The drawer wasn't sealing properly due to an obstruction. I vacuumed the condenser coils, which were not very dusty, and checked the evaporator coil, which was dry and fine. However, I noticed a brown, cracked, and broken part in the slot behind the trough drain assembly, possibly due to overheating. What could be the issue and what should I do?
