I took the ice bin out of my French door Maytag refrigerator and now it won't go back in. I think the spring on the turning thing in the back of the bin dislodged. My husband managed to get the bin back in with effort, but now no ice comes out the door. The auger works, but the door on the bin does not open to release the ice. What could be the issue, and how can I fix it?

My dryer (model MDG2706AWW) has a high-pitched tone when the burner comes on and continues until I shut it off. I changed it over to Air and the tone goes away. What could be causing this and is there a safety issue associated with it?
