I have a Hotpoint DC28 dishwasher. The prewash light keeps flashing, and there is a noise from a motor but no water is going into it. The water is connected to the dishwasher. What could be the problem and what steps can I take to diagnose and potentially fix it?

My Kenmore upright fridge (Model C675-63695-3L) won't get cold. Inside the lower part of the fridge, there are two green wires, one attached correctly and the other not. Where should the unattached green wire be connected?

I have a Kenmore washer model 23832100. It agitates fine, but sometimes it won't spin. It pumps out fine, but if I shut it off and turn it back on, it makes a loud clunk and starts spinning just fine. What could be the issue?

My Hotpoint model HSS25GFPE refrigerator has a non-functioning ice maker and water dispenser, despite the fridge and freezer working fine. There is water in the line as indicated by a tiny air bubble, and the line from the sink to the fridge is not kinked. I do not have a filter installed, but it was working without one previously. What should I check next?

I have a Hoover Steamvac Model F5826-900 (manufactured in 1996, I believe). I'm trying to attach the upholstery cleaner hose, but the hose attachment won't slide down into the dirty water reservoir (it's a very tight fit). I called Hoover's help line (waste of time) - hopefully, you folks can be of more assistance? Thanks very much!
