My Maytag dryer, model MGD308DAWW, was making a squealing noise and then stopped working. I replaced the rib belt and two tumbler wheels, but it still won't start. If I put it on the timer, I can hear it clicking, but it doesn't start unless I place it on the delicate setting on the temp knob, where I hear a humming noise. What could be the problem?

I own a Jenn-Air Dual Fuel down draft oven, model number JDS1750ES, with propane burners that do not adjust correctly from very low to high.
