I have a Kenmore Elite refrigerator with model number XXXXX. It makes an intermittent high-pitched squeal from the microcomputer control panel, and the control panel intermittently goes blank and later comes back on by itself. The refrigerator cools and freezes properly, but the compressor does not work when the control panel is blank. If the control panel has been blank for a while, I can sometimes turn it back on using the power button. Is the control panel starting to fail, or could another component be causing the problem?

My GE zdis150wssb ice maker is freezing up and producing very low volume of ice. The reservoir only fills about half inch and doesn't seem to be pumping as much water across the freezing plate as it used to. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

I have a built-in Sub-Zero fridge from 1992, and I received a repair quote for $2,160.60, which includes replacing the compressor, UV drier filter, and labor. The quote also mentions potential additional parts needed after the initial repair. I'm unsure if this is a reasonable quote and whether it's worth investing nearly $3,000 in a fridge of this age. Should I proactively replace the evaporator while they're in there, and would this issue likely show up during the compressor replacement or later in a separate service call? Is the quote reasonable based on your experience?

My Maytag 4000 front load washer shows F99 on startup. The CCU is new, and I need service cycle notes. I have the tech sheet from inside the washer, but I can't perform the STARTING DIAGNOSTIC TEST ONLY on page 6. Trying to do STARTING ERROR HISTORY TEST, but the LEDs do not light up.
