I have a Kenmore front load washer that is only 2 years old. From day one, the fill cycle has acted strangely. When the washer starts to fill, the water valve opens and closes very quickly, not letting much water in. This causes the washer hoses to jump around due to the rapid opening and closing of the valves. I'm concerned about the hydraulic shock damaging the hoses. After the fill cycle, the laundry does not seem very wet, and I don't think it's getting enough water to clean properly. My older front load washer does not act this way. What could be causing this issue and what can be done to fix it?

The issue you're experiencing is due to the 'automatic temperature control' feature in newer washers...
