I have a Kenmore top-loading washer, about 20 years old, that leaks when washing clothes. I couldn't get it to leak by just filling it with water and emptying it. I ran it through its cycle without clothes and checked for leaks at the intake hose and drain, but found no leaks. However, running a medium load this morning resulted in water on the floor, not from the intake or drain at the back. I haven't taken it apart yet. What could be causing the leak, and what steps should I take to diagnose and potentially fix the issue?
