I have a Kitchen Aid KS CS25INBL00 side-by-side refrigerator where the two bulbs at the top burned out. I replaced them with 40W 120V bulbs, but they won't light up. The bulbs at the back of the cabinet (down by the meat keeper) light up just fine and turn on and off with the door switch, just like they're supposed to. The control panel is functioning perfectly. Do I need new sockets for the bulbs at the top? The plastic does look a little burnt. Or is there something more expensive going on here?

I have purchased a Maytag dryer, model # XXXXX, which is 29" wide by 30" deep. I need to move it through a doorway that is 28" wide. Is there any way to partially disassemble the machine to move it through?

Our 4-year-old Firenzi FSF Electric Oven has developed a problem related to the timer. I can get the fan and temperature to come on intermittently by fiddling with the start and stop. The manual mentions manual operation can be achieved by cancelling the acoustic alarm, but it doesn't specify how. How can I override the timer for manual operation?

I have an Amana Radarange microwave manufactured in 1983. One side of the handle that opens the door has come off, and it seems a special tool is needed to repair it. Is it worth trying to repair this great appliance?
