I have a KitchenAid dishwasher (model KDPE234GPS10, about 8 years old) with food particles stuck in the holes on the spray arm. I've tried using toothpicks, wire, and tweezers, but they just push the debris back into the arm. How can I effectively clean these holes and prevent future clogs?

I have a Samsung dishwasher model DW80R2031US. When I open the door, the power button is lit, but when I press it, it goes off for about 5 seconds and then comes back on. I have tried turning off the breaker for a minute and pressing the dry button for 3 seconds when it comes back on, but it goes to normal even if I'm pushing heavy. What could be the issue and what should I do?
