My Maytag model A506 washer is leaking oil onto the belts. I ordered a lip seal, but when I disassembled the washer, I found that the original seal appears to be made of brass, not rubber like the new one. How do I remove the brass bushing/seal, and will the lip seal removal tool work on this? Will the new lip seal still work?
