I have a Kenmore Elite dishwasher, model #6651273k310 (corrected to 665.12763K310). It completes the wash cycle but the dryer cycle does not turn off, continuing to heat. I have tried resetting it, but nothing has worked. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

At the end of the wash cycle, there is water left in the bottom of the dishwasher. We initially thought it was a failing fuel pump, but after emptying the dishwasher and starting a new cycle, the water drains completely. My husband suspects it might be an electrical board problem. What should we do?
