I have a high-efficiency top-loading washing machine that is 5 years old. It requires holding the start button for 3 seconds to start, but it's not responding. I've checked the breaker, and it's working fine. Is there a reset button, and do you need the model number to diagnose the issue?

I have a Maytag refrigerator (model MFI2569VEB, 10 years old) with a slow water dispenser. I have replaced the secondary water valve and the water filter, flushed the system multiple times, and the lines are not kinked. However, the secondary water valve is making a noise again. What else can I check or do to resolve this issue?

I've never used liquid fabric softener before. I usually run my laundry twice, first with soap, then another cycle with just water. Can I add the fabric softener to the second cycle and run it? Should I add the softener to the cup on top of the center axle or pour it into the tub and on top of the clothes? If I ran a third wash cycle with just water, would all the effects of the fabric softener be washed away? How would I eventually get the softener out of the clothes if needed?

My friend has a Maytag top-load washer, about a 1995 model. It suddenly has quit filling with water. Water is still flowing out of the lines when disconnected from the washer. She says the screens at the hook-up points are free of debris. Any other ideas as to what may be causing this problem?

The digital control panel on my GR Profile oven has partially stopped working. I have tried to reset by unplugging, but that hasn't worked. The electronic lite function on the stove is fine. The oven is gas with conventional heating, at least 13 years old. It started with some keys working (Convection roast, 3,4,7,0, clock, start, end), but now only the self-clean function works. What could be the issue, and how can I fix it?
