I have a Maytag direct drive motor washing machine, bought in December 2018, and today it displayed an error message. The machine won't turn on, the door remains locked, and there's a strange sound from the machine with a wash load inside that's not spinning. I've unplugged it for 8 minutes and then again for 15 minutes, but the issue persists. What should I do?

I live in Texas and have had rolling power outages. My dryer has locked the controls and all lights are flashing with 88 on the display. The power was cycling on and off randomly before this happened. I tried pressing the ecoDry and DelayDry buttons for 3 seconds, and pressing Pause, but it didn't fix the issue. The display shows 88, Pause, Controls (locked), Sensing, and clean lint filter, with all other choice lights on. What should I do to fix this?
