I have a Maytag Maxima XL Steam front loading washer. The detergent and fabric softener cups dispense as soon as the product is poured in, whether the machine is on or off, and whether the door is open or closed. The cups are not overfilled, but the liquid dispenses down the door when the cycle starts. This issue has been ongoing for a while, and despite multiple service attempts, it has not been resolved. What could be causing this problem and how can it be fixed?
