I have a Maytag top-loading High Efficiency Washer, and the lid will not lock, preventing the washer from running. I have tried resetting it by unplugging it for 60 seconds and plugging it back in, but the issue persists. The washer started making a 'dinging sound' when it finishes, and now it won't lock at all, continuously making the 'dinging sound' until unplugged. How do I fix this issue?

I have a Frigidaire refrigerator (model FR6262NH) that is approximately 20-25 years old. It leaks water from the left front of the cabinet onto the floor only when the ice maker is on. The ice maker works, but the cubes are slightly smaller than normal. I have not detected any water around the ice maker itself.
