I have a Maytag XL Bravo washer that is leaking water during the rinse cycle, primarily from the detergent cup. The washer tub is not perfectly balanced, and I have installed new tub balance rods to improve this, but the tub still leans slightly to the rear. How can I adjust the tub balance to stop the water from leaking over the tub during the rinse cycle? Is there a way to disable the water fill valves to the detergent and fabric softener features, which I never use, to prevent water from splashing over these funnels?
