I am working on a Kenmore Elite Top Load Washing Machine, Model 796.31522211. The drain pump starts running as soon as the POWER button is pressed and runs for exactly 90 seconds after the POWER button is pressed again. I have read about 'Flood Mode' and tried letting it run through its cycle, but it never fills with water because it keeps draining. The manuals do not mention 'Flood Mode.' I suspect a problem with the water level sensor, which is variable and not just a switch. What could be causing this issue and how can I resolve it?

I'm having trouble replacing the water inlet valve on my 14-year-old refrigerator (model Ed5vhexvb00). Specifically, I can't get one of the electrical plug/connectors onto the new water inlet valve.
