I have a Porter Charles dual range oven that is about 5 years old. The oven door does not close tightly at the top, which is affecting the oven temperature and baking performance. The door seems to need to come in about 1/2 inch or so to close snugly. We believe the problem might be with the hinges. What steps can I take to fix this issue myself?

On the dishwasher door latch, which of the two wires (brown and black) goes on the brass terminal? Model # MDB7749AWM2. I plan to do the work myself and only need to attach two wires. When I removed the latch, I forgot which wire was on the brass terminal and which was on the silver terminal. Does it matter?

My Whirlpool washer, model #WFC7500VW1, keeps flashing an F06 error code. Tutorials on YouTube indicate worn brushes, but I was told by a parts store that my motor does not have brushes. Do you have any idea what might be wrong and how I can diagnose the problem? The machine works through most of the cycle but stops at the rinse cycle with the F06 code flashing.

Hello, I just replaced the water filter in my Kenmore Elite 4100, and while I was replacing the filter, the temp control changed to off for our freezer and refrigerator. We've tried to reset numerous times, but it still says temperature is off for both. What can we do?
