I have an Amana gas stove, model AGR5835QDS, and when I turn the oven on, it takes longer than usual to light. When it does, there is a pop and woosh sound when it ignites, which concerns me. This happens sometimes but not always.

Hello -- we have an IQ Touch counter-depth french door fridge that is about 5 years old. It's warmed overnight to the extent that ice was melting. The symbols on the display say 5(or S?)Y and EF, respectively. I can find no explanation of those. Can you tell me what those are, please?

My Maytag MDB 7749AWM2 dishwasher won't turn on. The controls on the left do not light up when pressed, while those on the right do. The machine does not start when the start button is pressed, and neither HEATED DRY nor NORMAL settings work. Turning off at the mains and then turning on again does not help. How can I determine if the issue is with the thermal fuse, the door latch, or the entire keypad?
