I have a stainless steel French door refrigerator purchased a little over a year ago from Lowes. The ice-making part of the icemaker has frozen up, and it's making a clicking noise trying to kick out the ice. The tray is empty. How do I defrost it? Looks like it overfilled the water and froze up as a block. Can it be turned off separately, and is it removable?

Not enough water is coming into the ice maker or water dispenser on my Maytag refrigerator (model MZD2665HEQ). This just started, and there is a rumbling noise when the ice maker cycles. The ice maker is dispensing a couple of malformed or incomplete cubes. I have removed the filter and tried the water, but there is no improvement.
