I have a Whirlpool Duet washer, model WFW9550WW00, that turns on but will not start a cycle. It shows F20 and F64 error codes during diagnostic cycles. The drum does not rotate during these cycles, and the door does not unlock. I have checked the water valve and the motor with ohms tests, which check out OK. What could be the issue, and should I replace the MCU?

The freezer in our refrigerator is frosting over and the appliance runs almost non-stop. It's a Whirlpool one-door with a pull-out freezer at the bottom, purchased on 11/4/2016. The temperature was set on 3 from the time we purchased it; this morning we moved it to 4 and it has made no difference. What could be causing this issue and what steps should be taken to resolve it?
