We have a Kenmore HE2 Washer. When turned on, the Add Garment light comes on even though clothes are inside. It makes noise, but no water comes inside, it doesn't spin, and then shuts off after about 2 minutes. There are no error codes. Can you help?

We have a 3-year-old GE Profile spacemaker with a trimkit. Over the past month, the interior ceiling paint is peeling. Our local repair shop suggested we contact GE to see if scraping the ceiling and repainting it would be a safe solution. The microwave works perfectly and we have had no fires. My husband is a mechanical engineer, but we prefer a GE technician to handle the task. How should we proceed with removing the microwave from the wall and repainting the interior ceiling?

Is there a reset button on a washing machine? It was working yesterday but is getting no power today. I have checked all circuit breakers and there is no problem there. We were washing small rugs and I thought maybe it got out of balance and automatically shut down.

We rented a house with a dual oven. The bottom oven has hair-line cracks on the bottom enamel. Our landlord says we caused this by cleaning. We have only used a cloth and supermarket cleaner. Could we have caused this by our cleaning methods? The stove is 6 years old. She wants us to replace the oven. It is going to the Tenancy Tribunal to decide. We would really appreciate your assistance.
