I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II dishwasher. The dishes on the top rack have a gritty residue left on them when the cycle is over. The silverware also has this grit. What should I do?

I have a Sub Zero refrigerator model 211RFD, possibly an old model from the 1950s. The freezer is thawing out, causing ice to melt and ice cream to turn into soup, while the fresh food side remains cold. The thermometer at the top reads 42, and I've adjusted the knob to 'colder.' What could be the issue and what should I do?

We have a Jenn Air gas stove with storage cabinets underneath. For the past few weeks, there has been an unpleasant odor, similar to roadkill, coming from two of the gas burners and the cabinet area. I have cleaned the cabinet area, but the smell persists. Could the odor be from the canisters connected below the burners? Should they be cleaned out regularly?

I have a self-cleaning smooth top stove, specifically a Frigidaire FEFB67BHDA. After running the cleaning cycle, the oven door will not unlock, the oven light stays on, and the lock light blinks. The stove top also does not work. I have tried running the cleaning cycle again, pressing the cancel button, unplugging and plugging the stove back in, and turning off the circuit breaker for several hours. None of these actions have worked. How can I get the oven door to unlock without breaking it?

Just used the self-cleaning option on my stove, now nothing will work. When I push any of the buttons on the stove, it just says "OFF". Tried to unplug it, now the clock won't even show up. Any suggestions?
