I have a Whirlpool Refrigerator model ED5LHEXTD00. The flap on the ice dispenser does not close completely and there is frost build-up inside the freezer compartment. I found a parts list that shows a tension spring. Is this a part I could replace, and do you have instructions on how to do it?

My GE Built-In Microwave Oven, model #SCB1001KSS01, is not heating or microwaving. The turntable and fan do not turn on, but the display counts down and works properly after an initial erratic display phase. The door switches appear to be functioning correctly, and the diode reads OL in both directions. What could be the issue, and what steps should I take to troubleshoot and fix it?
