I have a Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. The refrigerator is not keeping the contents cold, and the frozen food is soft-frozen. The evaporator coil is not cold, and the fan is running. The compressor is short-cycling, starting up and running for about 30 seconds before shutting off. The compressor is hot to the touch, and the condenser is relatively clean with a running fan that sometimes sticks but can be restarted by tapping the blade. What could be the issue, and what parts should I replace?

We own a GE gas range Model JGBP288EA6WH. The problem is with the oven; the upper burner or broiler lights fine, but the bottom or main burner doesn't. We have checked all connections, gas lines, and unplugged the power cord from the wall for 5 minutes, but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

The door hinges on my oven have been replaced twice, but the door still won't stay closed and is now worse than before. Should I order another set of hinges and try it myself, or is there another solution?
